The author explains the evolution of women work position, this iniciates with the only acceptable occupations for them as domestic work, factory labor and teaching. The increse of preparation for professions prevented many young women to entering professional careers; but when special colleges for women started to appear, the percent of professional women, like lawyers, managers and engineer increased.
Another problem came when professional women did not get the important assignments and promotions given to their male colleagues, either their preparation, their marital status or their social level.
Well, I think that nowadays there isn't that much discrimination, women are allowed tho have any career they want and can reach as high positions as they want; but it remains some discrimination in some "professions" that still are consider as men work, like that women can't be president or something like that; but we're working on it!

I´m agree, there is still too much discrimination in works for women and this no fear, because the women have the same capable as men an we can stay in high positions and we can do other works that consider "men works" like hunter or football.
ResponderEliminarYes there is still a bit of discrimination by men in some jobs, but that is about to end, as women have proven they can with anything.
